The Ivalas Quartet impressed us with their dedicated efforts to educate and motivate the youth in the Colorado Springs Community. They delivered outstanding performances at Pikes Peak Academy and provided guidance to young musicians at the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony.
Their musical talent and insightful responses to students' inquiries were truly inspiring. One key point that resonated with me was when Pedro Sanchez shared about receiving scholarships as a student: "Yes, I did, but I believe it wasn't solely based on being the best player. I think it was because my teachers recognized my passion and strong work ethic. Demonstrating these qualities as a student is what truly matters."
